Portland Timbers to be Without Leading Scorer Diego Valeri and Starting Keeper Jake Gleeson for Trip to Dallas -

Portland Timbers

OUT: Gbenga Arokoyo (Achilles), QUESTIONABLE: Jake Gleeson  (hip flexor strain), Diego Valeri (Quad strain)

Diego Valeri, who leads Portland's attack with five goals and four assists in eight matches, and Jake Gleeson, the Timbers' starting goalkeeper will not travel with their team to face FCD.

Valeri was stretchered off the field in the 80th minute of last week's match against Vancouver and is dealing with a quad strain. The Argentine midfielder scored in each of the final two meetings against Dallas last year. It will be the second straight absence for Gleeson, who is recovering from a hip flexor injury. Jeff Attinella started last week in his place and allowed one goal on four shots.

FC Dallas

OUT: Mauro Diaz (Achilles), QUESTIONABLE: Chris Seitz (Hamstring)

For the second straight week, FC Dallas is expected to be without Chris Seitz as he recovers from a hamstring injury picked up in training last week. Jacob Lissek, brought in form USL-affiliate OKC Energy FC last week, is once again expected to be the backup to Jesse Gonzalez in the 18-man roster.

Mauro Diaz remains out while recovering from surgery late last year to repair a torn Achilles' tendon, but returned to the training field for the first time in 2017 this week
