FRISCO, Texas - Four teams from the FC Dallas Boys Academy is set to compete in the MLS NEXT Fest tournament beginning this Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix, Ariz.
The MLS NEXT Fest is an annual youth tournament that includes four age groups: U15, U16, U17 and U19. The U15 and U17 groups are considered Pro Player Pathway and the games will count towards the overall MLS NEXT standings, while the U16 and U19 games are showcases for collegiate scouting. The FC Dallas Academy will compete in all four age groups with their schedules listed below.

North Texas SC Representation in the MLS NEXT Fest
Five players from North Texas SC (FC Dallas' MLS Next Pro team) will compete in the MLS NEXT Fest for the FC Dallas Academy. Midfielders Alejandro Urzúa and Dylan "Shaggy" Lacy and forwards Diego Pepi and Lautaro Taboada will line up for FCD's U19 side while recent signing Leonardo Orejarena will be part of the U17 team for this tournament.
