FRISCO - Reggie Cannon earned a spot on MLS Team of the Week for Week 31. His selection comes after a scoreless draw against the Portland Timbers in which FC Dallas clinched a playoff berth.
The FCD defense has been finding its rhythm and the chemistry on the field has been much stronger. The match against the Timbers was a heavily tactical defensive performance and Cannon led both teams in tackles (3) and tied for the game-high fouls won (3).
Team of the Week was only the second-best team Cannon was named to on Monday, also earning his first call-up to the U.S. Men's National Team for next week's FIFA window.
