FRISCO, Texas — The US Men's National Team booked its spot in the Concacaf Gold Cup Final following Friday's 3-1 victory over Jamaica. FC Dallas defender Reggie Cannon started at right back for the US, and he played an important role in the the first goal of the match.

The US opened the scoring in Nashville in the ninth minute of the match after Cannon crossed the ball into the box, which met the foot of Weston McKennie, who slotted the ball past the keeper's right side. Shortly after, the game went under a weather delay, and play didn't resume until shortly after 10:20 CST.

Christian Pulisic went on to score two more goals in the match en route to a 3-1 American win. The US will play Mexico in the Gold Cup Final on Sunday at 8 p.m.
