FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas captain Reto Ziegler has been named to the MLS Team of the Week bench for Week 14 after a strong performance in Dallas' scoreless draw with Orlando City SC Sunday night.
Ziegler returned from a muscle injury that kept him out of Dallas midweek match away to Atlanta United and hit the ground running with team-high seven clearances, three tackles and one block. On the distribution side, Ziegler made 45 passes (84% accuracy), four crosses and had 61 total touches--third highest on the team. It's his first Team of the Week appearance of the season.
