FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas trio Ryan Hollingshead, Jimmy Maurer and Bryan Reynolds have been named to the MLS Team of the Week after their standout performances in Dallas' comeback win over Inter Miami CF Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium.
Hollingshead scored his third game-winning goal of the season in the 81st minute to complete Dallas' comeback in its first-ever matchup with Inter Miami. The 29-year-old has now scored the game-winner in FCD's last three victories. Hollingshead also made two tackles and won two fouls en route to his second Team of the Week appearance of the year.
Jimmy Maurer helped Dallas earn the three points with a five-save performance and 73% passing accuracy to earn his third Team of the Week spot of the season.
Reynolds enjoyed another strong performance at right back, contributing to both of FCD's goals. The defender was fouled in the box near the hour mark which set up Franco Jara's equalizer from the penalty spot. Twenty minutes later, Reynolds ventured forward again and beat two Miami defenders near the end line before cutting the ball back for Hollingshead to tap the winner home. In addition to his assist, Reynolds created three chances, won two tackles and had an 85% passing accuracy to earn his first Team of the Week honor of his career.
