Six FC Dallas Academy Players Called into USMNT U18 and U19 Squad

The U.S. U18 and U19 Men's National teams are calling up players to their respective rosters for their upcoming competitions, and among those rosters include six players from the FC Dallas U18 and U16 Academy team.


U18 MNT head coach Omid Namazi called in 23 players for the week-long camp in Chula Vista. Among those players are defender Mark Salas and midfielders Paxton Pomykal and Brandon Servania.


The U.S. U18 Men's National Team is headed to Chula Vista on Saturday, April 23 for the start of the third camp for the 1999 age group of 2016. The U18 MNT's last camp was in March in Argentina. The group went undefeated in three friendlies in Buenos Aries with wins over clubs San Lorenzo and Racing Club as well as a 2-1 win over Uruguay.


U.S. U19 Men's National team head coach Brad Friedal called up a 20-player team that will travel to Slovakia to compete in the 2016 Slovakia Cup between April 20-29. Included in that squad is goalkeeper Ben Hale, defender Hector Montalvo, and midfielder Weston McKennie


The U.S. will face Georgia on April 25 in Modranka, Ukraine on April 26 in Bernolákovo and host nation Slovakia on April 28 in Senica.
