FRISCO - On a bright and sunny day in Frisco, brothers Tamirat and Markus Bogale stood tall on the pitch at Toyota Stadium. You would never have guessed that the 17-year old twins were recovering from back surgeries to correct their severe scoliosis.
Back in December, defender Atiba Harris heard of their story and visited the brothers in the hospital and not only went back to check in on them, but insisted that the brothers visit the team at Toyota Stadium. The twins not only visited Toyota Stadium, but met up with their friend Atiba Harris and his FC Dallas teammates in their custom jerseys.
Tamirat is scheduled to have his last surgery on Friday, February 24 and will recover in the DFW area for another 6-8 weeks. After that, Markos and Tamirat Bogale will travel approximately 8,000 miles and return to their homes in Ethopia, but will remain life-long FC Dallas fans.
