FRISCO, Texas (November 2, 2021) – FC Dallas winger Szabolcs Schön has been called up to represent the Hungary National Team in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers during the November international FIFA window.Â
Schön will depart following the FC Dallas road match against San Jose Earthquakes at PayPal Park on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 5PM CT.
Schön, 21, has six assists in 23 appearances for FC Dallas since joining the team this April 2021. He made his MLS debut in the 1-1 draw against Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on May 8, playing the final 24 minutes of the match. Schön has six appearances overall for the Magyars, after making his senior team debut in an international friendly against Ireland on June 8. Schön started in the World Cup qualifying match against Andorra on Sept. 8 and recorded his first assist in the 18th minute of the 2-1 win.
