Zimmerman, 23, is in line for his first senior roster cap, but was a fixture on several U.S. Youth National Teams before joining FC Dallas in 2013. He was called in to the U-23 National Team last season for the Olympic qualifier playoff match at Toyota Stadium, but did not see playing time in the match.
The game in Chattanooga, Tenn. will be played just over two hours away from Zimmerman's hometown of Lawrenceville, Ga. Kickoff Friday at Finley Stadium is set for 6 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast live on FS1 and UniMas (simulcast on UDN).
