FC Dallas Academy Player Nolan Norris Called into National Team Duty

Frisco, Texas (July 22, 2022) – North Texas SC and FC Dallas Academy defender Nolan Norris has been called up to the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team for its upcoming training camp in Carson, Calif. from July 25-August 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Norris, 17, made his professional debut and first start for North Texas SC on April 17 versus Earthquakes II on the road in a 1-0 win before being subbed off in the 74th minute. He has four starts in five appearances and has accumulated 369 minutes since making his debut for NTSC. The defender has a 66.7% of headed duels, a 72.7% of duels, six interceptions and two shutouts to his name.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2004 are age-eligible for the 2022-23 U-19 MYNT cycle. Three players called into the training camp were born in 2004 and 20 were born in 2005.
