FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC defender Mikey Maldonado has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for his performance in the club's 1-1 away draw with league-leaders Union Omaha at Werner Park Saturday night.
Maldonado played right back and recorded team highs in Touches (92), Aerial Duels (4), Interceptions (4) and Key Passes (2). The San Antonio native also had two tackles and an 83% passing accuracy en route to his first Team of the Week inclusion of his career.
