FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 1, 2021) - North Texas SC has exercised its contract option on one player and has declined the options on six others for the 2022 season, the club announced today. North Texas currently has four players under contract for next season.
North Texas SC has exercised its 2022 contract option on midfielder Blaine Ferri.
The 2022 contract options for Devin Benton, Thibaut Jacquel, Michael Maldonado, Gibran Rayo, Colin Shutler and Alejandro Viniegra were not exercised. Additionally, Imanol Almaguer, Alex Bruce, Christian “Kazu” Ferreira, Caiser Gomes, Gabriel de Morais, Rio Ramirez, Mark Salas, Richard Sanchez, Alisson Dos Santos and Derek Waldeck are out of contract.
The four North Texas SC players currently under contract for the 2022 season: Hope Avayevu, Bernard Kamungo, Blaine Ferri and Lucas “Lucaõ” Gabriel Teodoro.
