North Texas SC Postgame Quotes
Head Coach Pa-Modou Kah
On Thomas Roberts earning some minutes…
“He was not getting any minutes with the first team and that is the beauty of having a side in the MLS NEXT Pro because they are able to play and get into rhythm with us. Players coming to play with us must be ready and I felt like he did decent during the time he came on, including scoring his penalty kick in the shootout.”

On Antonio Carrera’s performance…
“I felt like he did great and thanks to him he kept us in the game. He nearly saved a couple of the penalty kicks from the shootout. He guessed a few of them right and he nearly saved the last shot. For him to manage seven saves is incredible.”

Forward Bernard Kamungo
General thoughts on the match…
“Y’all saw today that it was a tough match out there today. It's games like these that we must be able to close out so you can earn a win. You can see that we did not play the way that we wanted to, and we did not play to our level that we normally do. We played the way they play and that made us suffer. We need to be able to manage the game.”

On scoring in the match…
“It felt good to score but when you drop points it feels like you scored for nothing. The team is not winning so I feel like it’s not much. Yes, I am happy that I have scored once again but I am not satisfied with the result, and I will much rather help the team close out games than score in and be in situations where we drop points.”
