Lawrence, KS (July 2, 2022) – North Texas SC (9-3-2, 30 points) fell 4-2 to Sporting KC II (6-6-2, 20 points) at Rock Chalk Park Saturday night.

LEADING SCORER
North Texas SC’s leading scorer Bernard Kamungo extended his tally to nine goals on the season, third-most in MLS NEXT Pro. The forward has registered five goals and two assists in his last six games.

SILVER LININGS
The 4-2 loss was the first time North Texas SC has lost by more than a one-goal margin this season. The club remains in first place in the Western Conference with 30 points from 14 games.
