FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC defender Kazu has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for his performance in the club's 2-0 away win over FC Tucson Saturday night.
Kazu scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season with a left-footed shot to the bottom corner to give North Texas the lead in the 14th minute at Kino Sports Complex. It's Kazu's second TOTW appearance after being named USL League One Player of the Week on July 12. The game, which wasn't streamed due to technical difficulties, finished 2-0 thanks to another first-half goal from Gibran Rayo.
