FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC has signed defender Alejandro “Alex” Araneda to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Araneda, 19, joins North Texas SC on a one-year contract with an option for the 2023 season.
Born in Montclair, California, Araneda joined California United Strikers FC for the 2021 season. He made 24 appearances and registered a total of 1,677 minutes for the club, while contributing with two goals. Araneda began his soccer career with the FC Golden State academy.
