Scored his sixth goal of the season in the Texas Derby on Sept. 1.

Scored his first goal of the season on April 8 vs. Minnesota United FC. Mostly known for his goal scoring, Barrios’ ability to beat defenders to the end line allowed him to create 63 chances for FC Dallas to score this season. Finished in a four-way tie for fourth place in the MLS assist leaderboard. Recorded a franchise-record on June 3 with a three-assist performance against Real Salt Lake. Became the eighth player to record 10 assists in a single season with his pass to Roland Lamah on July 4 vs. D.C. United. Played 2,566 minutes.
2016: Started in 30 regular season games, three U.S. Open Cup games, one CONCACAF Championship League game and both playoff games against Seattle. FCD had a 17-6-7 record in games he started. Played a total of 32 regular season games, four USOC games, three CONCACAF games and two playoff games. Finished the season with nine goals and two assists. Tied with Maxi Urruti for most goals scored for FC Dallas. Had 2 game-winning assists and recorded 2,434 minutes played. Scored one CONCACAF goal on Aug. 4 against Real Estelí.
2015: Made his MLS debut when he came on for Ryan Hollingshead in the 75th minute of Dallas’ season-opening 1-0 win against San Jose. Played increasing minutes in his first eight appearances before scoring his first goal in the 73rd minute of a 3-0 win against New England on July 4. Scored two goals in his first 90-minute appearance of the season, a 4-1 win against Portland on July 25. Following his two-goal performance, Barrios played the full 90 minutes in 13 consecutive matches. Played 385 of 390 minutes for FC Dallas in playoffs.
2010-2014: Spent four seasons with Uniautónoma, appearing in 136 matches and totaling 10,091 minutes for the Colombian first division side. Scored 35 goals in that time, 32 of which came between 2012 and 2014.
