2013: Logged more than 2000 minutes for the FC Dallas defense for the third time in his career… Scored two goals, the first of which came in a 3-2 win against Houston on March 17… The second was a game-winner scored in the 87th minute of a 1-0 win versus LA on April 13… Was on the field for seven of Dallas’ nine shutouts… Through the first 21 games of the season, Dallas had a 7-2-4 record with John on the field and a 1-3-4 record without the central defender. 2012: John returned from a two-month loan period with West Ham United on March 2… He appeared in his first MLS match of the season nine days later when he came on for Jair Benitez in the 85th minute of Dallas’ 2-1 win against New York… John finished the season with 1,756 minutes played (10th most for Dallas in 2012)… FC Dallas was 7-9-7 in matches in which John played and 2-4-5 in the 11 matches John missed due to injury. 2011: John logged the third-most minutes (3638) of any FC Dallas player across all competitions despite missing three games in August to travel to England and discuss a possible contract with Blackburn of the English Premier League (contract talks eventually fell apart)...
