Romero, 22, played for the FC Dallas Academy for three seasons beginning in 2013. During the 2015 season, he scored 11 goals in 26 games for the U-18 Academy team.
2019: Played 20 games, started 10, totaling 920 minutes for the club… Oscar made his debut for North Texas FC on March 30th in a 3-2 win against the Chattanooga Red Wolves…Totaled 417 passes throughout the regular season with an 88.2% accuracy on the friendly side… Marked three assists and 15 key passes over the course of the season… Notched four shots on goal with three of them making their way into the back of the net…Marked two clearances, three blocked shots, and 18 interceptions in th regular season… On week 28 of the regular season, Romero scored two goals against FC Tucson with only two shots earning him a spot on USL League One’s Team of the Week…
