Here’s five reasons why you should vote for FC Dallas forward Maxi Urruti to face Los Blancos at Soldier Field in Chicago on August 2 at 8 p.m.
1. 2017
The Argentinian forward has seven goals and three assists in 2017, nearing his total from all of last season. In his first season with FC Dallas, Urruti managed nine goals and four assists in 30 regular season appearances.
2. Finding His Form
After 28 appearances in the Northwest for the Portland Timbers across three seasons, Urruti was selected by FC Dallas in the 2015 Re-Entry Draft. The scrappy forward became a regular starter for Dallas, making 42 appearances for FC Dallas and even scoring in the Playoffs.
3. Scoring Screamers
Urruti has scored some scorchers in his time with FC Dallas. Note his bicycle kick against San Jose. He even got on the board in the U.S. Open Cup final when he equalized with a flick that he vollyed past the keeper.
