The FC Dallas Academy U16 and U18 teams are in Bradenton, Florida for the 2025 Generation adidas Cup, the annual youth tournament featuring every MLS academy plus 18 international youth teams. The tournament runs from April 12-18 and takes place at the IMG Academy.
The tournament has two age divisions (U16 and U18) and begins with a group stage. Each group has four teams and everyone plays each other once with the top two teams advancing to the knockout rounds. Although the bottom two teams are eliminated from tournament play, they'll still compete in the consolation bracket.
Below are the Group Stage results for the FC Dallas Academy's U16 and U18 teams. After losing their three group games, the U16s will move over to the consolation bracket. The U18s finished second in their group with two wins and a draw to advance to the knockout stages where they'll face Sockers FC Chicago on April 16 at 3:30PM CT. Although not confirmed, that match may be chosen to be streamed on MLS YouTube page.
