FC Dallas Academy to face Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Dinamo Zagreb at mtu Cup

The FC Dallas U15 Boys Academy team are traveling to Germany this week to compete in the 20th edition of the mtu Cup, a 5v5 indoor tournament against top clubs from around the world.

The mtu Cup is based in Friedrichshafen, Germany and features teams from Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. During the group stage, FCD's U15s will face FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munich, Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), VfB Friedrichshafen (Germany) and SGM Fischbach Schnetzenhausen (Germany).

Coached by Chuy Vera and Toto Schmugge, the U15s will play on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1 for a place in the knockout rounds. Since the tournament is only 5v5, ten players from the U15 team will travel: Eduardo “Tito” Salas, David Jaimes, Patrick Arne, Justus Jones, Christian Guillen, Alex Soria, Johan Padilla Canales, Angel Monsivais, Sammy Guevara, Theophilus “Tamba” Halle.
