FC Dallas Announces 2024 MLS Regular Season Schedule

Frisco, TX (Dec. 20, 2023) – Major League Soccer today announced FC Dallas’ full 34-match schedule for the 2024 regular season, which will kick off at Toyota Stadium on Saturday, February 24 when Dallas hosts the San Jose Earthquakes presented by Children’s Health. All of FC Dallas’ regular season matches are available on MLS Season Pass.

MARCH

In March, Dallas will play four games, starting with a matchup against CF Montréal on March 2. FCD visits the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, March 9. On Saturday, March 16, Toyota Stadium hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Dallas ends the month on the road against Texas rivals Austin FC on Saturday, March 30.

APRIL

FC Dallas begins April playing against St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, April 6, in St. Louis, Missouri. The team then returns to Toyota Stadium and faces Western Conference rivals Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, April 13. Dallas travels to play the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, April 20. Another edition of the Texas Derby awaits as Dallas hosts the Houston Dynamo FC on April 27.

MAY

FC Dallas faces three away games and two home games in May. The month opens with a match against Toronto FC at BMO Field on Saturday, May 4. Dallas faces Austin for the second time in two months on Saturday, May 11. On Saturday, May 18, Dallas travels to Houston to face the Dynamo for a second-consecutive Texas rivalry match. The final home game of the month sees Dallas hosting Real Salt Lake on Saturday, May 25. FCD then travels for three consecutive road games against the LA Galaxy, LAFC, and Minnesota United, playing its first Wednesday game against the LA Galaxy on Wednesday, May 29.

JUNE

Dallas aims for its first win at LAFC on Saturday, June 1, and closes the three-week road trip visiting Minnesota United FC on June 8. The team returns to host St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, June 15, and faces Minnesota United on Wednesday, June 19. Dallas travels to play the Sounders on Saturday, June 22, and concludes June hosting FC Cincinnati for the second time in club history on Saturday, June 29.

JULY

FC Dallas starts the month with a Fourth of July matchup against the Portland Timbers. The team then visits Children's Mercy Park, facing Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, July 7. Dallas hosts the LA Galaxy on Saturday, July 13, and Austin FC on Wednesday, July 17. The month closes with a visit to the New England Revolution on Saturday, July 20.

LEAGUES CUP

FC Dallas will pause MLS competition from July 21 to August 23 for Leagues Cup play.

AUGUST

Dallas seeks its first-ever win at Audi Field, resuming MLS competition against D.C. United on Saturday, August 24. The only regular season home match in August is against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, August 31.

SEPTEMBER

FC Dallas begins September against the Whitecaps FC on Saturday, September 7, followed by a match against Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, September 18. Concluding September, Dallas plays two home matches on Saturday, September 21, versus LAFC, and on Saturday, September 28, against Orlando City SC, led by former FCD coach Oscar Pareja.

OCTOBER

October starts with two road games against the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, October 2, followed by the final regular season away game against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, October 6, which will also air on FS1 in addition to MLS Season Pass. Dallas closes the 2023 regular season at home on Saturday, October 19, against Sporting Kansas City on Decision Day.

2024 SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS

  • MLS will continue play through Copa America 2024.
  • FIFA Windows:
  • March 23: All MLS teams play through the FIFA window.
    • June 3-11: Play is optional.
    • September 2-10: Play is optional.
    • October 7-15: MLS teams will not play through this FIFA window.
    • November 11-19: MLS teams that reach the MLS Cup playoffs will not play through the FIFA window.
  • Dallas plays 26 matches on Saturday with 14 of them at Toyota Stadium. FCD will play five matches on Wednesday, two on Sunday, and one on Thursday.
  • The 2024 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, hosted in Columbus, Ohio at Lower.com Field, is set for Wednesday, July 24 (MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).

DRONE SHOWS

Following home matches against CF Montréal on March 2, Houston on April 27, Real Salt Lake on May 25, LA Galaxy on July 13, Colorado Rapids on August 31, Orlando City on September 28 and Kansas City on October 19, all guests at Toyota Stadium can experience the most exciting postgame drone show in North Texas.
