FC Dallas (9-9-11, 39 points) hosts the Colorado Rapids (7-17-7, 26 points) on Wednesday, September 27 at Toyota Stadium. This is the second of three MLS meetings this season between both clubs and third overall. Dallas and Colorado first met on Tuesday, June 27 in a U.S. Open Cup match in which FC Dallas won 3-1. The clubs played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday, August 12 at Toyota Stadium. FCD wraps up the season series with the Rapids on Saturday, October 7 in Commerce City, Colorado.
Just Win, Baby.
Not to evoke the late Al Davis, but FC Dallas needs a win in the worst way. Dallas is winless over the last 10 matches and hasn’t earned three points since a 2-1 victory on July 22 in Montreal. Dallas is 0-6L-4D during this stretch.

All-Time Against Colorado
FC Dallas is 31-22-15 against the Rapids. Dallas is 22-8-5 against Colorado in DFW and 10-4-4 against them at Toyota Stadium.
Go Barrios!
Michael Barrios has 14 assists on the season, currently third in MLS. Barrios is one assist away from tying and two away from breaking FC Dallas’ record for most assists in a single season. Current Orlando City head coach Jason Kreis presently holds FC Dallas’ single-season assist record. He notched 15 assists in 1999. FC Dallas plays Kreis’ club in Orlando on Saturday, September 30.

This Is One We’re Not Proud Of…
FC Dallas is currently in eighth place in MLS’ Western Conference and below the playoff line. This is just the second week Dallas has been below the playoff line since 2013.
We’re Gettin’ Cozy With Colorado
FC Dallas will face the Rapids twice over the next 11 days: Wednesday, September 27 and Saturday, October 7. The match on 10/7 was originally scheduled for April 1 (no joke). It was moved because of FC Dallas’ participation in CONCACAF Champions League play earlier this year.
