FRISCO – In a battle between two of the top teams in the Western Conference, both FC Dallas and Sporting Kansas City come into the match at almost full strength. Dallas is getting three contributors back from international duty and Sporting KC is returning a couple players of its own.
Here is where both teams stand on the injury front.
SPORTING KANSAS CITY
OUT: Jimmy Medranda (knee surgery), Cristian Lobato (quad injury)
Sporting comes into the match on a short week, but they are still healthy. Medranda and Lobato have both been out for a couple of months and will not impact Peter Vermes' lineup. Sporting will get back midfielder Felipe Gutiérrez from the Chile Men's National Team. Gutierrez started 11 consecutive matches before missing the Vancouver match.
Forward Krisztian Nemeth will also return from international duty. He has played in eight of Sporting's 10 matches since he was traded in August.
FC DALLAS
OUT: Kris Reaves (left foot stress fracture), Cristian Colmán (torn ACL)
Dallas gets back the trio of Reggie Cannon,Carlos GruezoandMaynor Figueroa for the match. The three have started a combined 68 games for FCD this season.
Cristian Colmán is out for the season after tearing his ACL. The forward had started two games in a row before his injury. Kris Reaves is still recovering from a foot injury.
