FRISCO – Adonijah Reid subbed into Canada's match vs. Guadelope in the 75th minute in and was an instant impact. With the game tied 1-1, it took Reid just four minutes to find the back of the net and give Canada the lead.
Theo Bair played a ball across the six-yard box and Reid was able to beat the goalie to the near post.
“I saw in the game that Guadeloupe left a lot of gaps," Reid said. "I thought we could capitalize off that, so I thought when I came on I could get a goal at least to help the team get the victory. I am glad I did and I am happy to help the team win.”
