FRISCO - FC Dallas closes up a home-heavy stretch of their schedule against Real Salt Lake tonight at 7 (TXA 21, FCDallas.com). Let’s take a look at the lineup for the home side:
Back Line Shuffle
With Walker Zimmerman out injured and Matt Hedges on National Team duty, Atiba Harris will get his first start at center back, with Maynor Figueroa alongside down the middle for the second time this season. Aaron Guillen will get his third start at left back and Hernan Grana remains the lone holdover from last week’s defensive face on the right.
Back to the Same
FCD’s attacking face will be identical to that in last month’s 3-0 win over RSL with Tesho Akindele and Maxi Urruti up top in a 4-4-2 look with Roland Lamah and Michael Barrios on the flanks. Dallas has scored just twice in their four games since a season-high three goals scored last time around.
Jesus Sighting
Homegrown Jesus Ferreira will make his first appearance on a professional roster tonight, available off the bench for Oscar Pareja. The 16 year old has been with FC Dallas for half his life, joining the club’s youth program at 8 years of age. The son of former MLS MVP David Ferreira, he is the first player in MLS history to sign a Homegrown deal with the club his father once played for.
