BACK-LINE SHUFFLE

With Matt Hedges suspended tonight and Reto Ziegler dealing with groin tightness late in the week, it’ll be Bressan and Ryan Hollingshead anchoring the back four with John Nelson and Reggie Cannon on the flanks. It is the third straight start for Bressan and Hollingshead moves centrally for the first time in a starting role after starting on the wing in his last two starts.

FIRST-CHOICE FRONT LINE?

For the first time since the Colorado match on March 23, Dallas has available and will start the attacking trio of Dominique Badji, Jesus Ferreira and Michael Barrios across the front line. Badji strained his hamstring following the Colorado match and then picked up a hip pointer early in his first start back two weeks ago. Barrios was suspended for that match and then was out injured last weekend as LAFC visited Toyota Stadium.

BACK IN ACTION

After mossing three matches with a lower body strain, Carlos Gruezo is back available for FCD off the bench tonight in Vancouver. With 97 MLS appearances to his name, the midfielder has his eyes set on the century mark in the coming weeks, though likely after spending time with the Ecuador National Team for this summer’s Copa America.
