Vancouver, BC - FC Dallas was unable to get the draw at BC Place after cutting the deficit in half late in the game with a goal from Dominique Badji.

Game Summary
First Half:
- 11’ – Dominique Badji sent a shot across the box but Jacori Hayes arrives a second too late to slot it in.
- 26’ – Jesus Ferreira connected with Michael Barrios inside the box firing the pass towards the net but his shot goes high grazing the top of the goal.
- 30’ – Ali Adnan scored the first goal for Vancouver firing a curling shot to the top right corner after going through Reggie Cannon and Michael Barrios at the top of the box.
- 40’ – Lucas Venuto doubled the lead for the Whitecaps after receiving a backheel pass from Fredy Montero.
Second Half:
- 56’ – Michael Barrios sent in a cross from the right flank that beats Crépeau, but Pablo Aranguiz’s right-footer hits the crossbar before falling back into the arms of the keeper.

- 73’ – FC Dallas’ ninth corner of the night results in a Ryan Hollingshead header from the center of the box that travels just over the crossbar.
- 75’ – Jesse Gonzalez made his second save of the night after Theo Bair fires one straight into Gonzalez at the center of the goal.
- 84’ – Venuto gets a one-on-one with Gonzalez and gets past him, but John Nelson recovers just in time to block his shot from doing further damage to FC Dallas.
- 85’ – Badji cut inside from the right flank and dribbles swiftly past two Vancouver defenders before sending a left-footed strike past Crépeau’s near post.
