FRISCO- FC Dallas heads to face San Jose on the road this time looking to have a better outcome than the first match against them.
BACKLINE DEPTH RETURNING
After regaining Matt Hedges last week, FC Dallas continues to rebuild its backline depth. Both captain Reto Ziegler and Reggie Cannon return to the starting backline after being on the bench last week. In addition to the two returning, Bressan will make his fifth consecutive start building a strong presence in the defensive front for FC Dallas.
MIDFIELD MOVES
With the midfield taking another hit due to international call-ups Jacori Hayes and Ryan Hollingshead test their versatility. Ryan Hollinsghead has played a different positional spot in the lineup consistently over the last few weeks, while Jacori Hayes will see his first shift this weekend against San Jose. Hayes has started four of his last five appearances on the 18 man roster.
ATTACKING BALANCE
Head coach Luchi Gonzalez seems to be sticking with the balance on the attacking side of the ball. Over the past few games we've seen Thomas Roberts make multiple appearances and makes another start to his career this weekend in San Jose. The front line stays unchanged from last week with Michael Barrios, Jesus Ferreira, and Dominique Badji leading the charge while Ema Twumasi, Francis Atuahene, and Zdenek Ondrasek are the on the bench attacking options.
