FRISCO — Maxi Urruti was named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 32 after his performance in FC Dallas' 2-0 win over Orlando City SC on Saturday evening.
In the second half, Santiago Mosquera scored his fifth goal of the year after controlling a low cross from Michael Barrios, cutting back towards goal and firing a right-footed shot in the 63rd minute. Maxi Urruti was also credited with an assist.
Late in the match during the 69th minute, Victor Ulloa scored his first of the year with a diving header off a free kick by Urruti that ultimately helped win the match and gave Dallas three more points.
Urruti now has seven assists and a goal over his last six matches.
FC Dallas maintains their top spot in the Western Conference with at the top of the table with 57 points. This is the second time Urruti has been named to the MLS Team of the Week this season.
