STORY LINES
Looking to Bounce Back
North Texas SC will take on Sporting KC II for the first time this season on Sunday at 7PM. NTSC suffered its first loss of the season after falling 3-2 to in-state rivals Dynamo Dos at home. SKCII fell 4-1 to Whitecaps FC II on the road in their last match. Head coach Pa will look to continue his good form of run while playing on the road this Sunday.

Pa-Modou Kah: "The mood is always fantastic, and we are who we are. Losing is part of the game but we didn’t lose because they played us out the park. That is how the boys felt after the game. My assistant coach Michel gave the best analysis of the game, we scored two great goals and gave away three silly goals. We had the goal of taking 15 points right now, but we have 11 and it’s a good start. We are looking forward to the next four games, starting with SKCII on Sunday."

Road Success
North Texas SC is 1-0-1 when playing on the road this season earning five out of six points possible. The team will look to bounce back to their winning ways as they take on an SKCII side that is yet to win at home.

Pa-Modou Kah: "Every game is a different game, usually they are unpredictable. We must match their intensity and match their energy. We have to start well and are on the front foot. I think we will have a good game if we start like that. The boys are hungry, and they want to set it right. We are a team that does not want to lose two games in a row, and we will look to always win on the road.”

Next Level Development
Academy product Santiago Ferreira has started in all five MLS NEXT Pro matches this season and registered 347 minutes played. The midfielder has 86 accurate passes and has completed 53 accurate forward passes. The 17-year-old midfielder played for the FC Dallas Academy before taking the next step in his career.

Santiago Ferreira: “It’s a big step, but I feel like I got used to it thanks to the Academy. They trained us to be in that professional environment. The energy and intensity at North Texas SC are more intense than Academy level.”

The Opponents
Sporting KC II are currently 8th in the Western Conference with a 1-3-1 record and four points total. The four goals scored by the club have all come from different goal scorers. Midfielder Jahon Rad leads the team with 220 accurate passes completed. Defender Collin Fernandez leads the team in duels with 66 and 12 interceptions. SKCII is coming off a 4-1 loss on the road to Whitecaps FC 2 where Michael Lenis scored the lone goal.
