Pepi is one of five players nominated for Male Player of the Year while Tessmann and Armstrong were nominated for Young Male Player and Young Female Player of the Year respectively.

The awards will partially be decided by a fan vote that opens Wednesday, Dec. 4 and closes Friday, Dec. 13. Winners will be announced in January. Vote HERE.

Ricardo Pepi

Ricardo Pepi enjoyed a strong 2024 season both domestically and for the national team. The 21-year-old already has 11 goals this campaign for PSV Eindhoven (across all competitions) and has made a strong case to be the USMNT’s starting striker under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino. Pepi scored twice over two legs in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League against Jamaica in November and sealed a 2-0 win over Panama during the October friendlies. Pepi is up against Christian Pulisic, Antonee Robinson, Tim Ream and Folarin Balogun for the award. VOTE

Tanner Tessmann

Tanner Tessmann had a breakout campaign for club and country during 2024. The Alabama native – who moved to Frisco to join the FCD Academy as a young teenager – helped Italian club Venezia FC gain promotion to Serie A before transferring to French giants Lyon at the start of the 2024/25 season. Internationally, Tessmann captained the USMNT at the 2024 Olympics while playing every minute of their four games. Tessmann helped them reach the quarterfinals, their best Olympic finish since 2000. The 23-year-old also made his competitive debut for the senior USMNT this year, starting both games against Jamaica in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals last month. VOTE

Trinity Armstrong

Frisco, Texas native Trinity Armstrong was nominated for the Female Young Player of the Year award after starring for the USWNT at the U17 World Cup this year. She played every minute of the tournament for the U.S. and was part of a backline that conceded just one goal across five games. Currently competing at UNC Chapel Hill, Armstrong spent her formative years playing for FCD's Kat Webb and others before finishing her youth career in FCD's ECNL program under Gareth Evans. Armstrong graduated early to enroll at UNC where she earned First Team All-ACC and All-Freshman Team honors. VOTE
