New Leadership
Following the 2-1 loss on the road to Houston Dynamo 2, North Texas SC decided to part ways with head coach Javier Cano. With the team sitting 11th in the Western Conference and just 9 games left to play, the club will turn toward assistant coach John Gall who will serve as interim head coach the rest of the season. Gall will continue to be assisted by current assistant coach Michel Garbini. As the team continues to push for a playoff spot, Gall and the rest of North Texas will need to come together and pick up some positive results. The team looks to bounce back from the tough match on the road with an upcoming match against Sporting KC II.
Player to Watch
Last match forward Hope Avayevu recorded his team-high sixth goal contribution in an eventual 2-1 defeat to Houston Dynamo 2. The assist in the last game brings his tally up to four goals and two assists on the season, with only 12 games played. Avayevu not only leads the team in goals but also shots and shots on target. The young forward has grabbed two assists in the three games back since returning from a long-term injury. The Ghanaian looks to continue getting back into form in the upcoming match against Sporting KC II.

Led by head coach Benny Feilhaber, the team currently sits in fifth position in the Western Conference with 29 points through 17 games. The club is no stranger to scoring goals, ranking fifth in total points per game with 1.71. The potent attack has been led by forward Pau Vidal who’s scored 10 goals in 17 games, putting him in a tie for second highest scorer in the league. Sporting KC II has also gotten major goal contributions from midfielder Ethan Bryant and forward Alenis Vargas, who’ve combined for 10 goals and assists.

There are two options for parking at Choctaw Stadium: parking lots E and L. Fans are encouraged to purchase a prepaid parking ticket as day of game parking prices vary on events happening within the district. Ticket Information
Tickets can be purchased through the AXS app or in person at Choctaw Stadium. Fans can also purchase tickets online. Fans may purchase either general admission tickets for $20 or field level seats for $40. Kids get a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket throughout the month of July.
