Frisco, Texas (June 26, 2024) – North Texas SC goalkeeper Michael Collodi has been named MLS NEXT Pro’s Best Goalkeeper in the league’s midseason awards. Collodi was previously named Goalkeeper of the Month for May.
Collodi, 23, has logged 12 appearances and 1,001 minutes so far this season. He has registered 34 saves and a 75.6 saves percentage while conceding 11 goals, thew fewest in the league. Collodi has also saved eight penalty kicks in extra-point shootouts. The Plano, Texas native played for the FC Dallas Academy from 2015-19.
North Texas SC currently sits second in the Western Conference standings with 30 points and a 7-1-5 record.
