Frisco, Texas (November 8, 2022) – North Texas SC has exercised contract options on two players and declined six other’s option for the 2023 season, the club announced today.
North Texas SC exercised the 2023 options on Alejandro Araneda and André Costa. The club also previously announced the permanent transfer of Carl Sainté on November 3.
Costa logged 1561 minutes in 23 matches with two goals and one assist. Araneda appeared across 13 matches with one assist in 692 minutes played.
Five North Texas SC players are currently under contract for the 2023 season. Those five are Alejandro Araneda, Hope Avayevu, André Costa, Carl Sainté and Pablo Torre.
The 2023 contract options for Blaine Ferri, Tomás Lacerda, Luis Miguel, Chase Niece, Blake Pope and Felipe Carneiro were not exercised. Paul Amedume’s loan expired and he will return to his respective club.
