Austin, Texas (August 2, 2024) – North Texas SC (10-3-6, 40 points) obtained a 1-1 draw versus Austin FC II (3-6-9, 21 points) and fall 5-4 in the extra point shootout to obtain one point at Parmer Field at St. David’s Performance Center in Austin, Texas on Friday night.

GOAL NUMBER ONE FOR HERBIE

Defender Herbert Endeley scored his first goal of the season following an assist from Tarik Scott in the 22nd minute. Endeley joins Malachi Molina and Isaiah Parker as the only defenders to score for North Texas this year. North Texas has 12 different goal scorers this season.

THE BRAZILIAN FLAIR IS BACK

Midfielder Pedrinho made his return to North Texas SC play after entering the match in the 74th minute. Pedrinho missed the past six games due to injury. Pedrinho ranks second in goals scored (5) and tied for first in assists (5) within the club.

THE SCOTT BROS

Forwards Tarik Scott and Malik Henry-Scott started for the first time since April 21. Henry-Scott made his debut on March 15th, 2024 and registered two goals and two assists this season, while Tarik Scott is tied for first in goals with seven and has registered three assists this season.
