Arlington, Texas (August 10 , 2024) – North Texas SC (11-3-6, 43 points) defeated Sporting KC II (7-9-5, 28 points) 2-0 on Saturday night from Choctaw Stadium. Anthony Ramirez and Pedrinho scored for North Texas SC to help extend NTSC’s unbeaten run at home to 6-0-4.

TWO FOR TONY
Anthony Ramirez netted his second goal of the season in the sixth minute of the match to give North Texas SC an early 1-0 lead. His goal was the second earliest goal scored this season for NTSC. With tonight’s goal, Ramirez tied his career-high total of two goals from the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season.

PEDRINHO MÁGICO
Midfielder Pedrinho scored North Texas’ second goal of the night following a Herbert Endeley assist. Pedrinho scored his sixth goal of the campaign in his first year with North Texas. He last appeared in the starting lineup on June 22, against Austin FC II.

RIGHT TIME, RIGHT MOMENT
Defender Herbert Endeley provided the two assists in the two goals tonight. He brings his total up to four assists in the season, making him second most in the team.

NO WAY PAST COLLODI
Goalkeeper Michael Collodi registered his third shutout of the season in tonight’s 2-0 win. He registered a save tonight, bringing his total to 46 saves this season.
