FRISCO, Texas (December 20, 2023) – North Texas SC has announced today the signing of open trialist Leonard Londe for the upcoming 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season with club a option for the 2025 season.
Londe becomes the sixth open trialist North Texas SC has signed since 2019.
Londe, 20, joins North Texas SC after recently playing for SKM Academy FC in the UPSL Division 1. With SKM, Londe won the UPSL regular season title in the 2023 fall season. He previously played for FC Euless Revolution in the Metroplex Premier League during the fall of 2022 season and helped the Revolution earn the league title.
Prior to attending North Texas SC’s open tryouts, Londe earned a two-month trial with Premier League’s Sheffield United F.C. from May through July 2023.
The Grapevine, Texas native, played for the FC Dallas Youth system from 2020-21 competing in the CCSAI Classic League of Dallas.

Leo was a standout in our highly competitive search for talent across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex,” said North Texas SC Head Coach John Gall. “He has impressed us with his abilities as an attacking minded player that can play in multiple positions. We are looking forward to getting him in and working with the rest of the players who have the mentality to succeed.”
Londe attended Grapevine High School and played for the boys’ soccer team from 2019-21. At Grapevine, Londe logged 41 appearances, scored 36 goals and registered 30 assists for the Mustangs in the two seasons. Londe was named The Dallas Morning News’ Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 as a senior. He was also a first-team selection to the TASCO 5A All-State Team. Following his junior season in 2021, Londe was selected as the Newcomer of Year by Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and also earned District 6-5A CO-Offensice MVP and TASCO All-Region recognition.
