Thousand Oaks, California (September 11, 2024) – North Texas SC (14-4-7, 54 points) obtained a 3-1 comeback win over Ventura County FC (8-7-10, 42 points) on Wednesday night at William Rolland Stadium.
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR NOLAN
Defender Nolan Norris netted his first professional goal via a Pedrinho corner kick in the 62nd minute. Norris has appeared in 33 matches and has assisted twice for North Texas. North Texas now has had 14 different goal scorers in the 2024 season.
RAMIREZ FOR THE LEAD
Midfielder Anthony Ramirez scored his fourth goal of the season following a Nolan Norris assist in the 64th minute. Ramirez ranks fifth in goals scored for North Texas with four and second in assists with four. Ramirez also tied Enes Sali in game-winning goals this season with three.
DIEGO ADDS TO THE SCORE
Midfielder Diego García netted his fifth goal of the season in the 69th minute of the match to score North Texas’ third goal of the night. García brings his total of goals scored for North Texas to eight.
ADDING SOME BRAZILIAN FLAIR
Midfielder Pedrinho registered two assists in tonight’s match. Pedrinho now ranks third all-time in assists for North Texas SC. Pedrinho leads the team in goal contributions with eight goals and eight assists.
GOING SIX FOR SIX
With tonight’s 3-1 comeback win over Ventura County FC, North Texas SC earned all six points in its two road matches this week. North Texas SC improves its 2024 MLS NEXT Pro road record to 7-4-2.
