2012-13: Made 14 appearances and scored one goal after joining Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish first division following his sophomore year of college…  Contract with Djurgårdens IF was not renewed following the 2013 season and Span’s rights were awarded to FC Dallas via a weighted lottery held by MLS on Jan. 9, 2014.
