PROFESSIONAL

2010: While on loan with U.S. Soccer Division II club FC Tampa Bay, Lambo started six games (at Carolina, at Austin: 5/19, vs. Vancouver, at Rochester, vs. Austin: 9/16 and at Montreal)... He posted a victory against the eventual league champions at Carolina (5/14) and helped FC Tampa Bay secure three ties (at Austin: 5/19, vs. Vancouver: 8/19 and vs. Austin: 9/16)... His only loss of the season came against the MLS-bound Montreal Impact on 9/19...

2009: Served as the backup goalkeeper during the regular season 15 times…Started in goal in the international friendly match versus Costa Rica’s Club Sport Herediano on June 10…Traveled to South Africa in December with Bruno Guarda, Eric Avila, Peri Marosevic and Brek Shea.. 

2008: Twice served as the backup goalkeeper during the regular season, including the opener versus Chivas USA on March 30… Started three Reserve Division games in seven total appearances… Suffered a concussion and broken jaw in a collision with a Chivas player just seven minutes into Reserve game on March 30, forcing him to miss the next 11 games…Returned to the lineup on July 19 as the backup to Ray Burse against Colorado…Traveled to England in December with Bruno Guarda, Eric Avila and Anthony Wallace along with other Generation adidas players for friendlies.

INTERNATIONAL

2008: Was in the nets for three of five games with the U-20's at Copa Chivas in Guadalajara, Mexico, against professional squads from Club America, Tecos, and Locomotiv… Traveled to Guadalajara with the U-20's for the Copa Chivas in January….Participated in the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland with the U.S. U-20's from July 24 - Aug. 1...Was a member of the U-20 team that traveled to Spain for friendlies in November.

2007:Represented the U.S. in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup along with current FCD teammates Abdus Ibrahim and Brek Shea…played 90 and recorded a 2-0 shutout victory over Belgium to send the U.S. to the Round of 16…Also played the full 90 in 2-1 loss to Germany in the Round of 16…was recognized as Man of the Match in both games. 2006: Started and played 90 of 2-0 win over Northern Ireland on 4/26, helping the U.S. U-17's advance to the final of the Ballymena International Tournament.

2005: Began U.S. U-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, FL…made first start in U.S. uniform with the U-17's in England in 2005, earning the 1-0 shutout versus a team that included Theo Walcott, now of Arsenal.

Born in Michigan, but family moved to Chicago when he was one… played club soccer for Chicago Magic, same club as Chivas USA keeper Brad Guzan…moved to Wisconsin in the summer of 2005, where he attended Middleton High School for less than two months before joining the U.S. Residency Program in Bradenton…trained with Everton FC during the team's preseason camp held at Pizza Hut Park in July 2006...the trial was set up by U.S. U-17 goalkeeper coach Tim Mulqueen, who had coached Everton's American keeper Tim Howard from a young age…went to train with Everton in England in the fall of 2006 and 2007 …has two older brothers, Nathan, 22, and Zach, 20, who plays soccer at the University of Wisconsin…son of Mark and Irene… picked up playing the guitar while at Residency…favorite band is Dave Matthews, also listens to classical rock…family is into "Numerology", and his life path number is 4, which his jersey number adds up to…very strong religious faith…includes "1:9" in his signature, as a reference to his favorite Biblical verse, Joshua 1:9… nicknamed "Lambchop", a name given to him by Residency roommate Kyle Davies, who thought the dog on the cartoon "Doug" was named Lambchop (the dog was named Porkchop, but the Lambchop stayed).
